We see that we "have" to fix so many things and we want to do it all at once. I know I fall into that trap. And it is a trap.Marijke Vroomen-Durninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14436563110710429784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-659197563728114440.post-25748939646887873412013-01-07T21:56:46.061-05:002013-01-07T21:56:46.061-05:00This is great advice, especially about breaking th...This is great advice, especially about breaking things down and making one change at a time. People get overwhelmed when they try to do too many things at once; they switch diets too radically or suddenly take on a grueling exercise regimen they're not going to be able to keep up with. Small changes that last are key.THKatzhttp://www.smokersfitness.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-659197563728114440.post-49387616512437830772012-12-31T10:53:56.181-05:002012-12-31T10:53:56.181-05:00Thanks Joanne. I always saw it as the time of year my kids were older because that was when they went back to school in the next grade. That was more tangible than a date that made them officially a year older.Marijke Vroomen-Durninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14436563110710429784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-659197563728114440.post-25171433645140580782012-12-31T10:51:24.429-05:002012-12-31T10:51:24.429-05:00Great post! Because my birthday is at the end of the summer and the beginning of the school year, it feels like a "new year" even though it's not January.Joanne Masonhttp://www.joannemason.comnoreply@blogger.com
